When did your love story begin?

Sinthura: It all started in high school when we exchanged text messages. The rest is history - truly.

How was the engagement planned?

Kavithan: Sinthura and I had always wanted to visit Morocco together. The architecture, culture, and cuisine strongly drew our interests, and I knew this would be the place that I would ask her to be my wife. For months, I planned for a photographer to meet with us in the area of the beautiful resort of Amanjena, where I got on one knee. These photos captured our engagement, the love we have for each other, and truly highlighted Morocco - the place where it all began.

What was the best moment of your engagement?

Kavithan: Immediately after our engagement, my now fiancé and I were taken to a private gazebo with flowers, champagne, and our favourite food - pizza. This moment allowed for us to be in each other’s company after a fairly chaotic day of planning, photoshoots, and my own nerves! Being with each other to really recognize the commitment we wanted to make to one another was truly perfect. After filling up on pizza and champagne, we were able to video-call our family abroad and share our exciting news. Our families coming together to join in our excitement really added to the experience.

What is your top picked image from your photoshoot and why?

Sinthura: We both share a love of architecture and simplicity, and this photo is our top pick because it dramatically captures both. The subtle colours of the wall and the ground, paired with the height of the archway draws attention to the two of us, without sacrificing the beauty of Morocco. Our Tamil culture is also a big part of our lives. To honour this, I wore a beautiful saree that is both simple in design and drape.

What does your Magazine mean to you and your loved ones?

Sinthura: Our engagement keepsake means so much to us because it allows our friends and family to feel like they were a part of the experience with us. This magazine narrates our love, journey and experience perfectly - making anyone who views it become a part of that experience to.

What bit of advice would you offer to someone creating their own photo book with MILK?

Sinthura: We’d do it again. Having a magazine of our engagement photoshoots really allow us to remember the day, every day. Also, don’t over think it. Let the design of your photo book come naturally, the way your love for one another does.

Sinthura and Kavithan’s engagement is a testament to the beauty of their love, cultural traditions, and shared dreams together. Their thoughtfully crafted MILK Magazine allows them to relive this special moment in their relationship whenever they wish, and will no doubt become a treasured part of their wedding collection. For anyone embarking on their own photo book journey, the advice is clear: let the sentimentality of your photos guide the design, and take time to cherish each one as they unfold in a beautiful archival keepsake.
