*Please note: Photo books with 24-40 pages will not have head and tail (H&T) bands added to the binding. For H&T bands to be included, your photo book must have a minimum of 42 pages (Classic Photo Books), or 44 pages (Premium Photo Books).

All MILK products take time to carefully craft by hand. Medium Premium Photo Books take an estimated 7-12 days in production. Large Premium Photo Books take an estimated 14-21 days in production. All products are then shipped from Hong Kong via Priority Shipping (a premium express service) or Economy Shipping. Final shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout. Superior stitched, near-flat binding for lasting strength
We set out to design a beautiful book rather than one which was easy to produce. That’s why a stitched spine was the only option for this range. This age-old technique means your book will lay open, allowing you to create stunning double page spreads and stay safe in the knowledge that you’re creating something that is made to last. With stitched books, pages don’t come loose, so everything is kept for posterity.
6-color printing to capture every nuance
To reach layers of sophistication that 4-colors quite simply can’t do justice to, your images will be reproduced in 6-colors. What’s more, the top-quality inks we use means your pictures don’t fade, staying warm and rich for loved ones not even thought of as yet to enjoy deep into the future.
Archival quality papers
MILK Premium Photo Books are exclusively printed on archival quality, earth-friendly sustainable paper. Certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council®, this luxurious-to-the-touch material is also acid-free, so the vibrancy of your images will last for generations. Four paper stocks are available for our Premium Photo Book range: Satin and Matt Ivory (coated); Matt White and Textured (uncoated).

We don’t select our coverings solely because they look good; they’re chosen because they endure handsomely too. MILK Premium Photo Books offer you a variety of elegant finishes to choose from, including Linen, Premium Coated Cloth (Buckram) and Vegan Leather (limited stock - disabling soon).

Select from six different sizes and formats and preserve your memories in 24-200 archival quality paper pages and vibrant 6-color print. Our Premium Range uses section-sewn binding and allows for complete customization with the choice of Premium cover fabrics to personalize with and optional add-ons including our Designer Cover templates, available in a variety of luxurious colors; full or partial Jackets to safeguard your memories; and a Presentation Box for that luxury finish. We currently offer a small photo book (the Small Landscape Classic Photo Book) which is 7x5.2" or 17.8x13.2cm. It's a handy, everyday size and perfect for your photos. We currently don't offer an extra large photo book, but our Large Classic Photo Book is our largest available at 13x11" or 33x27.9cm.
At MILK Books, we choose binding methods that ensure our quality products will last for generations. Our Premium Photo Books are stitch-bound, a method also known as section-sewn or Smyth-sewn binding. Section-sewn binding is a traditional bookmakers technique that involves binding together sections of folded paper (signatures) with thread, sewing the individual signatures together and gluing them along the binding edge. The result is a high quality, luxurious, durable photo book with paper pages that open to lay near flat. Glued books typically resist opening and naturally spring back to the center to close. This does not occur in section-sewn books .
We craft our photo books and albums with the highest quality, sustainable paper stocks. All are archival quality (meaning the paper will not decompose or discolor with age), acid-free, and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®). Our Premium Photo Book range offers the below paper options:
- Satin - 170gsm. Classic white color. Subtle satin sheen for a vibrant print result. Our most popular paper type.
- Matt White - 148gsm. Chalky white color. Uncoated with a matt, subdued finish. Perfect for the understated minimalist.
- Textured - 148gsm. Chalky white color. Uncoated paper with a lightly textured Eggshell finish.
- Matt Ivory - 135gsm. Warm Ivory color. Uncoated paper with a matt surface. Perfect for creating a nostalgic, vintage look in your next personalized photo book.
At MILK Books we use the finest quality fabrics and materials. There are linen and cloth cover options available in a variety of colors for our Premium Range:
- Premium Natural Linen - Archival quality European linen in a textured, woven natural fabric with a modern-classic appeal.
- Premium Colored Linen - Archival quality European linen in a textured, woven colored fabric with a contemporary feel.
- Premium Coated Cloth - Made of cotton, coated with a subtle, glossy sheen, this is the most durable of our cover options.
- Vegan Leather - Our beautiful European leather alternative will give your photo book a luxurious look and feel. 100% vegan-friendly, phthalate-free and REACH compliant.
Our Premium Photo Book range is printed in vibrant 6-color. This means that in addition to the standard 4-color CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black), 6-color includes two more lighter shades of cyan and magenta. When printing, ink is applied on to the paper as tiny dots and because 6-color has more inks to work with, the end result is more realistic with lifelike color and dimension. All MILK products are digitally printed using the best technology available to ensure high quality, long-lasting results. You can learn more about our printing processes here.
