All MILK products take time to carefully craft by hand. Classic Photo Albums take an estimated 14-21 days in production. Our Classic Photo Album range is our most affordable, high quality album offering. Simple and elegant, there are two sizes available in landscape orientation and 24-64 thick board pages to house your favorite memories. The range features 4-color printing onto Semi-gloss paper, and flush-mounted lay-flat binding so the albums' pages will lay perfectly flat. Personalize your photo album's look with the choice of seven different Classic Linen cover fabric options.
There are two sizes available:
- Medium Landscape 9.25 x 7.4" (23.5 x 18.8cm)
- Large Landscape 13 x 11" (33.0 x 27.9cm)
Lay-flat binding is a traditional album making technique. We chose this method because it results in the best experience, providing the ability to lay the album completely open and flat across the center fold. Unlike other binding techniques, the images you love won't get lost in the album's gutter, so your beautiful panoramic photos and favorite memories can spread beautifully across two pages.
At MILK Books, our Photo Albums are carefully crafted with 1.15mm thick board pages. They are stiff, inflexible and heavy, creating a high-end, luxurious feel and the ultimate keepsake for your coffee table.
Please note: For albums over 46 pages we will use a marginally thinner board with 0.88mm thickness to accommodate the higher page count.
Our Classic Photo Album range features 260gsm Semi-gloss paper mounted on thick board. A classic White color, this paper type mimics the look and feel of traditional photo paper for a vibrant print result and lustrous finish. Our Semi-gloss paper is acid-free, archival quality and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®), meaning that not only will it not discolor or decompose with age, but it has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly manner.
Classic Photo Albums can have from 24 to 64 board pages. Please note: Photo Albums with more than 46 pages use a thinner, more flexible board (0.88mm) to accommodate the higher page count.
4-color printing is the industry standard when it comes to digital photo printing. The CMYK process reproduces photos beautifully and results in a crisp, clean finish. Your memories come to life in 4-color print using cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks that are applied as tiny dots on the paper, successively layered to reproduce thousands of colors. We use the best digital printing technology available, including industry-leading printing presses and inks, to ensure high quality, long-lasting results.
