Ordered the 9 by 12 lay flat option to use as our wedding album. Had to decide on the layout ourselves which I didn't mind since it was actually a fun process! I didn't find the design process frustrating at all. Such thick pages and an overall lovely book. This is a family heirloom to be passed on for years to come and I wouldn't hesitate to order from Milk Books again.
