High quality book, excellently printed

The design software could be a little more user-friendly, but the photo book turned out great. The quality of the prints is very high and overall it turned out as expected. I'd probably order from MILK Books again.

My photo book was put together and delivered quicker than I expected. I’m very happy with the quality of the book and loved all the different options available for the cover.

Very impressed with the quality and service. Would recommend. I opted for a lay flat premium photo album with a 40% off voucher. (To get this, follow them on Facebook, visit their site a couple of times and at some point you should be served a Facebook ad offering you 40% off if you signup to their newsletter. Remember to turn off ad blocker for Facebook.) This code was only valid on Photo Albums (not the books). So it wasn't as expensive, but the quality of the print and product was still excellent. One thing to note, you can tell which photos were taken on a Huawei P30 and which were taken by the professional photographer. Luckily, I had minimised the amount of mobile photos and kept them quite small in size so resolution wasn't too much of an issue. However, they do alert you when making if something is low is resolution. The software was probably the easier ones I have come across, the only downside being there isn't a 'back/undo' button. Which can be a bit tedious. The linen cover was to a high standard and the design was exactly as expected. I was worried about the corners getting damaged during transit since I opted not to get a presentation box for it, but it was perfectly wrapped and arrived in perfect condition. Delivery was quick - DHL to the UK. I didn't need to pay any customs charges, even though I was expecting to do so. Not sure why this was the case, but hey, not complaining! I have read some reviews where people have had some bad experiences, and it did make me worry (for no reason in my case) but from what I can see, they have a great customer service, so I am sure they would rectify any problems if they were at fault. I would definitely recommend MILK, but be sure of what you are buying. Take your time and do the book properly - I made my book and didn't purchase until 6 weeks later, as I kept refining and making sure everything on my end was perfect. They really are impressive books, and do not compare to the likes of snapfish/photobox etc.
