Great quality but the website is a little bit of a pain to use

Books turned out beautifully! My only complaints are that the UX in designing the books was so frustrating. Constant pop ups made were so unnecessary and really tested my determination. I also think no availability of free shipping is ridiculous this day and age.

The photo upload process was quick and easy, and I was able to drop in and out of my project as I needed to. The process of laying photos out could be improved though, as it can be hard to preview the exactly what photos you are dropping in. This is because you can only view thumbnails. A feature when you can preview a larger version of the file you’ve selected, to make sure it is the right one, would be handy.

I have created many photo books over several years using different providers and this was the first time I have used Milk Books. Overall the quality of the finished product is excellent particularly the cover, paper and quality of printing. However I found the online software to create the book difficult to use. I particularly disliked that the preset spaces for the images were fixed aspect ratios and I had to start each page by getting rid of all the presets, then dropping in my images and very painstakingly ensuring they were sized to my original aspect ratio to avoid distortion. Several times I required assistance and I always received helpful answers in a quick and timely fashion.
