Milestones

We purchased a large album with the linen cover for our wedding photos. The book is definitely a nice quality. The linen is just a pictured, the pages are thick and sturdy, the print quality is great, the finish (luster) is nice not matte but not glossy either, and the lay flat is perfect there is no break in the photos from one page to another. With all that being said, the book is quite heavy which concerns me when standing it upright because the binding seems like it could quickly wear out due to the weight of the pages. Also, the price is high, which I don’t mind for a quality item (which this is), but I still think it was a bit too high, especially given the binding situation. Building the book was pretty simple and straightforward on MILK books program and I love the covers and cover designs you can choose from. I also love that we could put a title on the binding. The sizing options were ok. I love that you can make albums to be the size of regular books so you can add them to a bookcase, but I wish there had been a 9x9 or even a 10x10 option because the 8x8 is too small and the 11x11 is too big. We went with the 11x11 but the book is exceptionally heavy at this size (we did like 70 pages I believe) so it would have been nice to have a bit smaller option. Overall, we are happy with our purchase, the quality is great and the book is beautiful.

Service and product gorgeous. Just a pity there are only two fonts to choose from. It would be great to have more options for fonts.

I really like they MILK layout and design tools. They make it easy to create a wonderful photo book. My book printed and shipped quickly and I'm overall very happy with it. The only slight issue is that the corner bent a little in shipping, but something like that was bound to happen eventually and I am overall quite satisfied.

The look and feel of the printing and pages wasn't as great as my expectations on such an expensive object. The cover cloths and binding work were beautiful but the printing of the words on the linen cover cloth makes it look cheap.

Hi, overall, I'm quite happy with the quality of my soft cover book. Being a photographer, I'm quite picky with printing quality. The only thing that bothered me is a pattern that appears on all images but is more or less visible depending of the areas of the image. It looks like a lot of very tiny circles. To me, it feels like It could be caused by either the printing or the paper grain. Sadly, it stops the print from being smooth and truly high quality.
