I am absolutely obsessed! The quality of the book is amazing. My only complaint is that with the classic book you are forced to put an image on the front cover and they claim it’s laminated but it doesn’t seem to be. I also think that the editing and creation process of your album has very basic options. You can’t tweak images much and only have two font options to choose from. I regret not buying a presentation box now knowing that the front image isn’t well protected so if you do purchase a classic album I highly recommend buying a presentation box. All in all though I am very impressed and satisfied with my purchase.

The end product was very good. The website creating tool works fine. However, the pre-purchased voucher code system needs improvement. I had to contact customer support on a couple of occasions to clarify the process.

These are expensive photo books but you do get what you pay for. The linen covers are lovely, and far better than the other options I’ve tried; likewise the quality of printing. Certainly gives appropriate weight to the memory you’ve chosen. My one piece of constructive criticism would be that, in lieu of a wide choice of layouts, the page organisation could be improved. Other options I’ve used aren’t much better, but it’s hard to see why. The ruler and automatic snap-into-place functions don’t work very precisely, and now mine has come I can see that some gaps between photos are very different sizes than they looked when I previewed the book. I thought about writing to customer services to complain, but decided against it as it’s probably my fault and I am happy with the item; luckily it’s recipient is not prone to criticism.

Good quality book. Nice image printing on the page.Only critique is the cover of the book which has an image stuck on. Would be better to make that into a window having the image on an inside page. Would definitely recommend though. Worth it to spend a little more for the quality obtained.

The quality of the production for my book was superb; from the warmth and tactile sensuousness of the fabric cover, to the weight and lustre of the pages, to the lack of fold between the pages which made panoramas and spreads across two pages absolutely stunning. The printing inks are incredibly warm and true. Even the delivery packaging was beautiful, and its timeliness excellent - especially so close to Christmas! The only area for improvement would be for MILK BOOKS to provide more guidance / counsel around appropriate photo sizes for the page spreads. I ended up crowding a few too many photos on some of the pages for my book, because I had little sense of how large they would appear (in print, as opposed to on a screen). As a result, I crammed a few too many shot onto one or two of the pages. Not a major disaster - but that is one area in which MILK could improve its experience.
