The image and production quality of the book are superb, and the technical staff were attentive to potential problems with the digital files that I supplied. The process of dealing with U.S. Customs needs to be improved, however. MILK Books' plant is in Hong Kong. When the books reached the U.S. Customs clearance in the United States, Customs demanded that I complete a shipper I.D. form. Neither MILK nor FedEx, the carrier, provided much help in dealing with that. As a retired lawyer who specialized in federal administrative law, I was able to guess the required responses. But an ordinary lay consumer is likely to find the process daunting.

We ordered our wedding album and I have to say I’m disappointed. We spent almost £300 and it has arrived looking cheap. We ordered one of their premium books and expected thick weighted paper but it was more like a magazine. Unfortunately I can’t recommend.

We really loved the design experience on the website, but the actual product we received was different from what we imagined or how it was presented in the pictures. The pages are very thin, just like a simple printed magazine. We imagined them to be much thicker and more durable. The cover didn't survive the shipping and arrived bent. If we had known this was the quality of the materials, we wouldn't have ordered, especially after paying such a high price.

The books great, however after paying 100’s of euros for the book plus 15€ delivery AND 71€ import tax, I don’t think it’s worth it.

Great product, but the photo upload can be a bit glitchy and the photos often appear not in order which is a bit annoying. Maybe only relevant if you're using a large number of photos.
