The books great, however after paying 100’s of euros for the book plus 15€ delivery AND 71€ import tax, I don’t think it’s worth it.

Great product, but the photo upload can be a bit glitchy and the photos often appear not in order which is a bit annoying. Maybe only relevant if you're using a large number of photos.

This is not my first print with Milk books and as far as print quality and binding are concerned, it's top quality. My issue is more with its limited design options. I have chosen a magazine format and save for the size, there's nothing that makes my print looks like a magazine. The fonts, design and text layouts are limited and you can't do anything bold. I have used another print co for a similar magazine format and it looked the part. Reason why I didn't go back to that printer was the paper and print quality were just ok. Would I use milk books again? Given it's so pricey- I would think twice.

Beautiful Book Quality, Cumbersome Creation Process

I am rating my MILK experience three stars - while I loved the book print quality and competitive pricing (vs. competitors), the experience of putting the book together was cumbersome and took much longer than expected because of the UX design.
Liked - The linen book covering is pristine and has a nice hand feel. The print quality of the photos is clear and precise. The paper has a nice thickness as well. Printing lead-time was also very prompt, they delivered a few days early (right before Christmas) which was a nice surprise and allowed me to wrap them as gifts ahead of time.
Disliked - The UX of the book creation process shows only a limited number of photos at a time. When sorting through 1000+ wedding photos, I had to really sit down and develop a strategy how to upload and deal with smaller number of photos at a time. Ultimately I had to pre-sort all my photos into individual folders and upload them one at a time as I worked on that section. Additionally, the size of the photos when uploaded into the ''Photo Selection" section was very small so it was hard to make selections. The entire process took me 40+ hours over 4 weeks to complete.
