Milestones

Books are still reasonable quality but not as good as they used to be. I've got a pile of Milk albums and the older ones (from several years ago) and much better quality spine, paper, interleaf at the front etc. Not as much flexibility in cover design - so I can't make my new ones look the same as my old ones. Cover colour varies quite a lot too despite them all being "charcoal".

The book overall looks very pretty, however the craftsmanship is questionable… after flicking through the book once, the spine already started to move out of place and the entire product feels quite fragile. It doesn‘t reflect the price you pay compared to other photobook companies. I was also disappointed about the duration of production and shipment, as the products come from China, rather than Europe!

Nice album and was happy with the overall quality. However, I agree that it is not very user friendly when trying to crop or use your photo into the set sizing. Not good at zooming in or out / adjusting. Pixilation occurred on the final printed version. I would also say that it was very expensive to add pages and to ship. The initial price advertised was reasonable but there are many additional costs. I did not realize until it was time to complete the order that this was shipping from NZ or I would not have ordered it. I will look around for something more affordable next time.

There is no resolution check and there was an issue with a recent book that I created for a couple. It appeared proper resolution on my end but it came pixelated.

UPDATE on my review: After I reached out to MILK and expressed my disappointment in the quality of what I received they were kind enough to work something out. The quality of the album was so much better. I'm giving 2 stars for customer service! I was very excited to create this album for my daughter. Unfortunately I chose this company to print it for me. The album I got was very poor quality - everything about it looked cheap, and truly tacky. The pages were stuck together, the album was just not what I would say quality! For the price I paid, I would've been able to do a better job at home! They sent me a second album ... and alas, same terrible quality! I would NOT recommend if you need something with great quality! Even the second book I got to redo some of - where I changed the photos to higher quality still the seams and and overall quality is very disappointing!
