The final product was Ok, the photo quality is not that great on the front cover of the album. I don’t think I would use them again, it doesn’t look premium but a bit cheap

At the time of writing this I feel very conflicted. I purchased a premium photo book in medium portrait. The quality of the book itself is great; the linen cover and inside pages make it feel luxurious. The paper the photographs are printed on make it feel like a real coffee table book, if not on the small side. My issue? The print quality. I used a mix of DSLR and iPhone SE (the old one!) photographs to make my book, and you simply cannot tell which photographs were taken on which device. I managed to get the book with (I think) a 20% discount and in total it cost me about £186 including shipping. At this price point, it should be a wholly PREMIUM product, regardless of if it is a photo book or a photo album. I would have expected far crisper image printing, not the blurry cross-hatch finish some of my photos now display. I am getting married in September and was hoping to purchase another product from Milk Books but now I am incredibly put off. Perhaps as some other reviews suggest, the photo albums and larger sizes will produce a better quality... but for the price, it's simply not worth the risk!

Somehow I missed that this was a soft-cover book and thought it was hardcover. I had wanted a coffee table book to leave out, but because it's so flimsy and we have pets, it would get destroyed too easily and now have to tuck it away instead which defeats the purpose. The photos make it look like a hardcover book, and at the price point, I would've expected better quality. It's a flimsy paper book which I could've gotten through Shutterfly, Snapfish or any of the other major brands for a lot cheaper - heck you can get a hard cover book for cheaper too! Save your money and buy elsewhere.

The quality of the cover is spot on. However some of the printed photos particularly the smaller size ones are blurry

Our “medium books” were much smaller than the large book that we bought. The printing of the images were ok compared to other albums that we have, some of the photos were grainy on the page, and we used the recommended paper type when ordering the book.
