Milestones

In the early years MilkBooks was great, it was a neat, simple and effective way of getting photos presented in a lovely woven keepsake photo album. I was a happy returning customer. Then the discounts became a lot less interesting, less frequent and the resulting price of an album went up massively to a point where now I simply don’t find the platform good value for money, not for shipping to the UK. The quality is still there, but albums take time to arrive and there are now plenty of good if not better and certainly cheaper alternatives. I’ll keep looking out for the occasional discount to try grab a bargain but not as a loyal returning customer. I hope MilkBooks manage to keep going with the premium pricing.

Loved this album but honestly it wasn’t up to par with what I thought I was purchasing. Online it says the pages are thick and durable. However, in tiny print it says that if you purchase over a certain amount of pages it changes the thickness of the paper. I had no idea! The main reason I bought it was because of how great quality the pages looked on their video and how thick the pages were. I don’t think I would have bought this book if I knew how flimsy the pages were. Now I’m scared to have people look at the book because of how fragile it is. Pretty dissatisfied.

I was very satisfied with my bigger book, but the smaller books I was a little diss appointed, especially with the cover. It is simply a glued on picture and I do not feel it makes for a nice cover. It looks rather cheap and I would not order it again.

I was pretty excited to get our wedding album, but when we opened it up, I was disappointed 😞 The front photo was just glued on there. Not even a screen over it or anything. I looks cheap and was not what we were expecting. On top of that, about 6 pages of photos near the back are terribly blurry. They looked nothing like they did in the online editing stage. And although they it warns some photos may be pixelated, you don’t actually get to see how pixelated. That was the most disappointing because we paid a lot of money for this book. Other than that, the actual quality of the book is well made.
