Good quality but overpriced, especially postage costs

Nice quality book, especially the cover but a bit overpriced. Although the company is based in New Zealand, product comes from China so a bit upset to be slumped with $60+ postage on top of my $200+ purchase. Was also double charged (thankfully I noticed) but refund was issued quite promptly.
Perhaps i chose the wrong product..

I have previously ordered from milk books on two other occasions before and loved the linen cover, paper stock, colours, sharp images, everything. This time I ordered the Small Landscape Photo Book and was disappointed with how difficult the pages are to open as well as the sharpness of the images. I know there are cheaper photobook companies out there so I felt that paying the premium to go with milk books on a book this size didn't quite live up to my expectation. Having said that, the linen cover and paper stock were of the high quality standard I've come the expect from milk books. I wouldn't recommend ordering the small size book, but loved the medium and extra large landscaped sized which I ordered previously.

A bit underwhelmed considering how much we spent on the book. Front cover photo is cut out and stuck on - not recessed as it looks. Photo paper quality isn't that great. Would probably look elsewhere if we were looking to do another book

Bought the photos frames.Packaging is first class.
The frames are metal - not wood.
The glass is not glass - its some kind of plastic.
The mask and photos are ok in quality. But I was at least expecting glass in the frame, and prefer a wood frame.

Great online creation tool with lots of format options, and price was good compared to similar offerings. Also arrived quickly.
There was a bit of discolouration/print lines on some of the pages, and they were shinier than we hoped. Also no option to include embossed wording on the cover or any wording at all on the spine, which would have made a big difference.
