Milestones

Great online creation tool with lots of format options, and price was good compared to similar offerings. Also arrived quickly. There was a bit of discolouration/print lines on some of the pages, and they were shinier than we hoped. Also no option to include embossed wording on the cover or any wording at all on the spine, which would have made a big difference.

Our book turned out really beautiful. Still, I probably won't order another Book from Milkbooks. Reasons: 1. The Formats offered are somehow different from the Mainstream, but whether the Quality is so much better that the significantly higher Price-Difference to the Competition is warranted, I dare to doubt. 2. From an ecological Point of View it is more than doubtful whether you should transport a Photo-Book around the World. 3. Shipping around the World is of course also very expensive. 4. The Customs-Duties due in the Amount of the Shipping-Fees add to the already high Price. 5. You have to be very patient before you can hold the Book in your Hands. In addition to the already quite long Production-Time, there is also the long Time for shipping.

I like the presentation box and packaging. I don’t like the jacket and wouldn’t order again, that’s a personal preference. The photo paper quality and colour representation is just average and I really wouldn’t order this particular book again. The pictures look flat and dull.

The photos and paper were gorgeous! However, the hard linen cover (and box it shipped in)came in with a large dent in the top which we can't get out. Also surprised the picture on the front of the cover isn't behind some sort of clear protection, and doesn't completely fill out the circle indent. Not up to par as a gift, but as stated before, the inside photos are gorgeous quality, so just make sure to get a different cover type and pay attention to shipping.

All photos are darker than my expectation. Paper are thinner than my previous milkbook
