Took ages to arrive, postage was expensive and could not change the layout of 2 pages half way through (the bad points). Good points were that it’s good quality and relatively easy to use.

Whilst happy with the appearance and quality of the book, which is very good, I was frankly astonished at the price tag. Having committed so much time to the book, I was reluctant to ditch it, despite the cost. The quality of the product is very high but the cost is correspondingly astronomical. I am talking $180 AUD for a 'medium' (but really rather small), linen bound book.

I was a little disappointed in the material of the book and the photo quality just wasn't what i expect. I spent $60 on a book and it was kind of shocking when i received the quality.

I ordered the large landscape photo album- original, lay-flat book for my wedding album. I would say my experience with Milk Books was ok. I wasn’t too happy with how the quality of the photos came out. They appear to me (and everyone I’ve shown) as slightly blurred or glowed, as if the photos had been put a filter on them. I know it was not the quality of my photos because I had ordered a couple of cheaper version books as gifts (same size, etc.) through Shutterfly and the photos on those books came out crystal clear. I had complained to Milk Books about how disappointed I was. Considering how much I paid for the book and the result being just mediocre, I was not satisfied. They had agreed to my offer of a discount and offered me 20% back. I took it and agreed back, but I still believe it’s overpriced for the quality of the prints. The book itself though is strong and heavy duty, so that I am satisfied with. Also, the fact that they were also very responsive to my emails and complaints.

I was expecting a thicker, more impressive book for my wedding pictures but it turned out to be less than 1 cm thick and with no engraving on the back. Also the cover picture is too dark even though I have printed it myself before and looked perfect. I chose MILK for how amazing all books look like in their website but mine disappointed me a little and it was VERY expensive.Paper, picture and text quality inside are very nice but I think you can find this quality in other shops. I thought I was getting some extra value by ordering here and it was not an easy choice to make and I will definitely order somewhere else next time.
