Milestones

I found the platform very difficult to use for my wedding album. It did not support horizontal pictures well, thus cutting off the bottom of my photos frequently which included my wedding gown. I also made the mistake of uploading all of my wedding photos to be able to pick and choose which pictures to place in the book. The platform did not support the ability to view the photos with ease prior to placing them in the book-thumbnail versions were very small. One click and the entire layout changed with no way to immediately “undo” which was extremely frustrating. In addition, the quality of the printed pages (made completely with professional photographs) was not as nice as I would have expected for the price and time I put into creating the project. Milkbooks does have fantastic customer service who were very prompt to respond and act appropriately to a request needed to reduce additional costs accrued when creating a larger book than expected.

The book was ok but for the price I expected it to be of higher quality.

The photo quality was grainy and did not print that nicely.

The photo book is gorgeous, really really beautiful and I am super pleased with how it turned out. However the pricing structure really isn't clear and the discount codes are a bit of a farce. I pre-bought a book during a sale, but in the end had to pay an extortionate amount in shipping which I didn't realise and couldn't use a discount code on the box we wanted. The book is amazing, but more visibility in buying it from the UK and how much the subsequent costs are would be good.

The images came out beautifully but unfortunately the spines of the book are all loose and you can hear the glue crack when you turn the page. They are very expensive for an average product.
