I miss the wonderful Moleskin books… 07/05/20
I miss the wonderful Moleskin books that were smaller and easier to handle. These new books are cumbersome and not as elegant. Disappointed.

Thick Pages and Dull Photos 20/04/20
I bought a premium book for my wedding album. The userface was excellent and easy to use. I was a little disappointed in the final product though. The pages were so thick, it was like there was a board glued in between two pages. I'm not sure if that is typical but I didn't realize how thick it would be. Also, I'm not sure if there was the option to pick glossy and I didn't but I felt like the photo quality could be better. I think the colors just seep into the paper a little too much.
Few layout options and border colors. Nice binding and easy software. 20/04/20
I think the edge of the border around the photos are too big and they can't be resized. There is also no option to choose the border color, it's only available in white. Also, there aren't many layout options for the photos. The binding quality is very nice and the software is easy to use. I hope that more customization options will be added in the future.
A proof would be most useful! 06/04/20
My book project was given to me as a gift. The majority of the work was black and white, which required the use of your FOGRA profile. Before commencing, I made sure sure my monitor was exactly calibrated, and then produced all of my images (about fifty) to suit. I asked a couple of questions about the the sort of results I could expect, and, while your advice was speedy and friendly, I was told that you do not run a proofing service. Your information suggested that I keep everything 'bright', which is not a very objective approach. I worked through my images and 'brightened' them. Later, I referred to your page showing the degree to which my work would darken, depending on the the type of paper used. The (small) reference pictures appeared to be quite radical in their degree of darkening, so I worked through all of my images again, pushing them to the extent of almost losing highlight detail. I was really stabbing in the dark. When the finished books arrived, nicely bound, and on nice paper, my heart sank as I worked my way through the pages. The images were too light, by at least ten percent, which rendered them lifeless! The blacks were not black enough, which took all of the drama out of my images. Instead of this guesswork, two things would have really helped give me the result I wanted. Firstly, had I been told to believe what I could see on my accurately calibrated monitor, instead of the 'brightness' advice, I am sure my results would have been just fine. I presume that the majority of your customers would not be experienced Photoshop users. Secondly, to have been able to see one (any) page printed on the selected paper would have given me the key to what I could have expected as a result; and I could have easily adjusted all images to suit. May I suggest that, for a modest fee, you could make that single page print available to those who would prefer to see what they can expect. Using that print as a guide, adjustments to levels, etc, could be made with confidence. We ordered two books, one for me and one for my daughter. She is happy enough with the image content, which includes many famous people; while I am, sadly, disappointed with the result. I won't be showing it around, as I had hoped to do.
