Milestones

I like the quality of the premium books but was really disappointed to see that they were produced in Hong Kong and thus had a really long shipping time. For the price paid, I would have thought shipping might be free and certainly a faster production time... I don't mind paying a premium for a premium product but there wasn't anything about this that made it worth the excessive wait time. It was also difficult to contact the company since I'm ordering from the US and their corporate office is located in New Zealand. Final product was good and the client loved it but probably won't be ordering from Milk Books again any time soon.

Honestly, I was expecting a bit more as the overall quality was a little disappointing. Some photos seemed blurrier that others, and I know it was not an issue with the quality of the photo I provided. The front cover looked a bit off (color-wise) from what I was expecting, and a couple of the full page spreads did not perfectly align at the binding / center seam. A nice book, but not as amazing as some of the marketing made it seem. Thanks for making the ordering process easy, and a great customer service team to answer my questions, Milk. :)Edit: I can confirm their team has reached out to me to have a specialist review my case.

Using the formatting was so hard! I did the same thing a few years ago and it was so much easier. The help I received on the phone was great though and I wish I had called earlier. I did use the instructions but it was still hard!

Creating our photobook was a pretty challenging and stressful experience. The site and features were not user friendly.

The book binding quality is amazing but the printing job of the pictures is not at the quality I expected for the price. The pics are not as crisp and seems to have been printed at a lower resolution than the original pictures supplied. I also thought the was a local to NZ company but the printing takes place in Hong Kong - where the book was shipped from.
