Prestige books, with quality paper stock. But shockingly expensive, much more so than the last time I made a book with them in 2016.

The book was expensive and a present. It took a lot of work to put the book together including watching all the Milk tutorials, sorting through pictures and layouts including the captions. When it arrived I wasn't thrilled with how it turned out for the price and effort. The pictures didn't stand out as they had with some Shutterfly books I had ordered in the past (for much cheaper). I'm not sure I would use again.

The design aspect is modern, clean, and mostly easy to use.
I believe the book is too expensive for the quality of the product. My front cover photo looks like it was glued on to a linen cover. Not too impressed..

The design studio is AMAZING. This is the best part and worth it all. Down sides: Complex pricing and voucher codes meant I felt like I overpaid. Draft projects kept threatening expiry and deletion even though I messaged customer service about how this is for an important event a long way off, and photo album was OF an important event too - couldn't rush it. The time zone differences (me in UK and them in NZ) meant I missed offers when asking about them. The photo album itself didn't have as much of a quality feel as I thought it would based on the description. The photo on the front was just stuck on which cheapens the look. However, it's all "good". Nothing completely ruined the experience. If it wasn't for the design studio - which is incredible - I don't know if I would have a photo album at all (even with another company). Massive help.

I ordered a photo book for my post wedding session and I had really high expectation on milk books due to their good reviews. When I received my photo book, it seemed average to me. It did not give me the wow factor, maybe the photo album is better. Also I did not like the fact that when you upload your photos, they show blurry photos on preview, it would’ve been nicer if you could spot any blurry photos right away while working on the project instead of noticing it after the printed product arrives because you can’t get the book redone or returned. It is a big deal not getting the best print out especially considering how much it cost, even with the discount.
