Book looks nice and is good quality but it came damaged.

The product is WONDERFUL- however It was not disclosed that my credit card would be charged in a foreign currency, and thereby incurring a currency exchange commission. I am in the USA, I was charged in New Zealand, but the product was produced and shipped from China. Disappointed in MilkBooks.

The book picture quality was nice, and my partner was happy with the book. Although I felt the pictures on the site made it look like the front picture was deeper set into the book, so I found that a bit disappointing. Also the process was a bit long getting my book set up initially, not cause of the software really (but some work could be done there) but because it takes time to choose images for a 40 page hard back photo book. Now because it will take most users a few days to get their book setup how they want I feel it would have been pertinent either in the book editor or via email to have mentioned print lead times. While I am aware of the this info in other locations on the site it's not something you think will be a big deal. Until you find out the book is being delivered from Hong Kong. Then you find out you'll be lucky to get your book within a week more likely two. Suffice to say the present was late, I feel primarily through poor communication. Cheers for the nice looking book in the end though. Update after response: Thanks for your response Milk Books, although I do feel you kind of missed my point again I did say I was aware of the shipping information on other locations on the site, as it was pointed out to me by your support team. The point I was trying to make is that it would have been better to provide ideas of lead times in the actual book editor when you're editing the book. I don’t mind at all that the book has to come from Hong Kong, I can prepare for larger lead times no worries as long as I'm made aware of them in a clear. I guess the point I'm trying to make is make the lead times clear during the book creation process.

Nice paper and printing...but the layout and style are a bit restrictive

I had a little difficulty with your new software. I purchased milk books on the old software. I wanted to put a poem at the front of my book but was unable to do so . I like the finished product but find your soft ware a restrictive
