Milestones

I didn't think the colour in my latest book was up to scratch, I've ordered Moleskin books the previous four books, and I much prefer the layout options and the colour or production in those for some reason.

i Did a lot of research on quality, price and location before choosing a printer. I chose milk books because of the quality and there was a promotion code. When I purchased my book there was no information about where my book would be shipping from so I have now been informed I have to pay an extra £56 for import duties from Hong along for the book. Seems a bit inappropriate when it wasn’t transparent on the website when I ordered.

Lovely album, but didn’t expect it to be shipped from Hong Kong. On an album that cost £106 plus £20 delivery, I had to pay a further £32 in vat and tax when it arrived in the Uk! Total cost not transparent at all, I would think twice about ordering from them again.

To create a book its easy, the process its really fast, and quality is great, the big problem is the shipment because they send the book with a thin cardboard box so I received mine with a corner side bend and a line marked on the cover... the costs of the shipment are expensive and its not a guarantee.

I was very excited to get my wedding album. I wouldn’t say that the finished product isn’t nice - it is a good looking book - however I was expecting more. The pages feel thin, and the pictures all came out with a pink undertone, which I am very disappointed about. I love my photographer’s pictures for the very balanced colours and light and I felt like the printed version looked very far from the pictures themselves. I am still happy we got a wedding album, but I wouldn’t necessarily redo an album with Milk Books.
