I’ve had a number of photo books from Milk. This recent one may be the last. After spending hundreds of dollars with the company we weren’t happy with our latest book. Having contacted them about what seemed to be massively limiting the pages. I was told the maximum pages were now 80 (our last book was 200)
On receiving our new book it was much smaller & no outer cover either.
Whilst it was hard to compare the cost to the previous book due to the huge difference in page numbers, it’s just not in the same league.
These albums aren’t cheap so when we contacted them to express that we weren’t best pleased, especially as it was a continuation of the previous album too, we were really disappointed at how quickly they dismissed it.
Not sure I’d recommend them any more.

I thought the paper would be thicker and a 120-pg book would feel more substantial. Also not thrilled with the color quality of printed photos (I'm a photographer and designer and very familiar with printing process and set up of color for photos.)
Paid vouchers should not expire

Books are great, but the paid vouchers should not expire. We purchased three vouchers to create a series of photo books, and used two but didn’t have all the photos ready for the third book to use the voucher “in time”. Where I live, having paid vouchers expire is banned (Ontario, Canada). It isn’t a free coupon, it’s something we paid for. It is wrong, and just because life happens and we cannot make the book yet we lost our $160 voucher. I know they send reminders when expiry is getting close, but there should not be an expiration date to begin with. So regardless of the quality of the photo books, I cannot recommend them due to this. It’s a sketchy business practice - there’s no reason to have them expire other than as the company, they end up with money from customers without giving them anything in return.
No value for money, Hidden postage costs!

The quality is okay but it was much smaller than expected. The real pain comes with the postage cost and timings. Nearly £20 postage cost which you’re only made aware of when you’ve finished editing the book and it took over two weeks from dispatch to delivery. Overall disappointed due to the high hopes I had for the company. Didn’t feel good value for money at all!

I was deeply disappointed about the paper and printing quality. Additionally milk didn’t communicate the delivery cost and time before checkout- that it’s printed in Hong Kong. Would have expected more of an Apple experience when I use iPhoto to create such a book. Definitely not worth quality price ratio.
