Expensive shipping costs!

The book itself is beautiful. But there were a lot of hidden costs. In the beginning it should have been 60€, but in the end it was 80€ because of the shipping (from Hongkong!) which is only indicated in the very last step once you've already spent a lot of time creating your book. And then some days later I even received a FedEx invoice for customs, another 10€ so now the book costs 90€ instead of the indicated 60€. Lovely book, but be aware of the expensive shipping costs!Oh and I also had a coupon code which actually never worked. So overall it was a rather poor experience with MILK BOOKS. Sorry, next time I'll use Pixum again.

I was super excited to receive these books as I made 3 wedding books for our parents, however when we received them, the print quality on the photos were very quite poor. It took hours for them to be uploaded onto the the platform due to the size of the files to have the quality was a bit distorted. I have to create our main wedding book which I prepurchased, and am so worried about this printing quality.

Where the pages are glued together, you can't turn the pages nicely. Not good quality for price.

The print quality was poor, i don’t like the paper. It is Not a nice white and does not match the inner paper. Shipping is too expensive.
Warning - hidden charges

Warning - hidden charges... I was very disappointed to be charged an additional $130 for my order after the fact for duties / fees, when I was led to believe that all charges were already covered in what I had paid for the product and shipping. MILK Books is aware of these additional duty charges when delivering to the US, but they intentionally keep disclosure of these fees very minimal and hidden on their site. They should be upfront about this additional cost so customers can budget that into their expectations for total cost. On top of this, shipping was delayed because MILK Books was not clear with FedEx regarding company of origin, and sorting out those logistics and additional documents fell to me. Was happy with the product, but disappointed by the service and dishonesty around extra charges. Asked MILK Books to make it right by covering the duty charge, but they would not do so. Just a warning to others to realize that the final cost will be more than expected.
