Milestones

I had an issue with the thick paged Photo Album and the Photo book I ordered. On the thick board paged book some of the pages were getting a slight curve to them as it sat on my coffee table. I contacted Milk and they replaced it with a new book. The other Photo Book that I ordered for my parents is starting to show a bit of de-lamination with the front cover photo. Both books are in temperature controlled environments with normal use. The company has been extremely helpful with replacing the books but the quality of the books should be better. For the price that I payed for both books I would not purchase again. Its been about 6 months and I am worried that these books will not last "several lifetimes" as stated on the website.

I found that the books produced were good however very expensive for what you get. Then I was dinged with about $100 duty on top of it. I'd check out other options next time.

Print quality has deeply suffered since I first used Milk. Colours are no longer vibrant or true, silly page number/layout print rules make it difficult to produce the story you're trying to tell for a client, cost remains high while costs have clearly been cut. Feels like a poor value proposition now

The quality of the book is perfect, I’m really happy with it! The process was painful! I didn’t like the way the app works. Nothing about it was instinctive. It was so painful that I ended up creating all of my page layouts with Photoshop which took much longer than what I had planned. The only reason that I kept going is because I had bought a voucher, so my project had already been paid. Otherwise, I would have stopped and find another company. I am not making another book with you unless you completely change your app to create the books.

The stitching was showing which ruined the larger photos, for the price we paid we expected better quality. Have used twice previously and were much happier with those books than this one.
