I ordered a Medium Landscape Photo Book (64 pages, Pepper fabric cover, satin paper, 6-color printing), which is marketed as one of MILK Books’ premium products. The final cost was approximately CAD $192, and unfortunately the result was extremely disappointing. The book is much smaller than expected, the paper quality is only average, and the print quality falls well short of what I would consider true photographic reproduction. Images lack sharpness and detail, and the overall product feels more like a standard consumer photo book than a premium offering. What frustrated me most was the value proposition. For nearly $200, I expected professional photographic quality. Instead, I received a product that, in my opinion, is comparable to — or worse than — photo books available from mass-market providers at a fraction of the price. Customer service was polite and responsive, but ultimately declined my request to return the book and focused on explaining why the print quality was “expected” rather than acknowledging that the product failed to meet reasonable expectations for a premium photo book. Based on my experience, I would not order from MILK Books again.

Utterly disappointed with the quality. I ordered an extra large portrait photo album for my pre wedding photoshoot album, 46 pages priced at US$779 and yet the album had uneven wavy page for a PREMIUM THICK PAGE. It is an eye sore because of the gap between the pages when the album is closed! I paid good money for a fantastic photographer to had my photos taken in Paris and thought paying good money for milkbook was gonna be worth it too but NO! What’s worse is that milk book customer service did not even provide any proper solution. They blamed it on shipping conditions and advised to place heavy objects over the book for a month AND TO SEND THEN PHOTOS of the before, during and after pics before they consider any other follow up actions! Maybe I should have asked for their evidence of “ When your book left our production facility, the pages were completely flat. From your pictures we can see a slight wave has occurred during transit, and this can be disheartening, but if you understand that paper products will ''move" with their changing environment, you'll know that the chances of it moving back to flat are very high. Therefore, giving the book some time to adjust is the right and reasonable thing to do for now.” And after one month, they said “Thank you for your reply and sending through the updated images. We will follow this up with our production team, but please note that there will be a slight delay in getting back to you as our production specialist is currently unavailable. We will be in touch with an update as soon as possible.” NOT EVEN GIVING ME A TIMELINE THAT I SHLD EXPECT A REPLY.. Pls buy at your own risk. Poor customer service, poor quality. Zero intention on their part to properly resolve the problem. Unhelpful responses with no real effort to make things better. Oh and pls read all the one star reviews, I wished I had read them before purchasing. I also had to pay hefty custom duties taxes and I totally can comprehend all the one star reviews. ITS REAL! Update: They have since reached back to resolve the situation.

Be very careful when purchasing from this company. Although the quality is alright it is certainly not worth the price. Additionally, there are transportation and customs costs which you must cover on top of the price because they are manufactured and shipped from China! This may add up to 200€ more!

Very disappointed on how much add-ons were. The initial order seemed expensive but worth it for the high quality photos but when redeeming the voucher and selecting photos it became £450+ extra that we didn’t expect. Gutted. My wife put lots of effort and it was not clear how much all the add-ons to have it the way she wanted were going to be.

When building the album it was misleading. For over $300 it looks like a magazine. Very disappointing. Very frustrating that I wasn’t able to add a background image to the whole page. In past albums.made by iPhoto I was able to not happy with this product.
