I thought Milk books were crafted in New Zealand due mostly to their marketing, but after my first experience I have learned they simply outsource to……drum roll please….CHINA! So, it appears I have been scammed into believing I was offering my clients high-end New Zealand-made products only to learn I spent WAY too much money for a Chinese produced product. You live you learn.
Secondly, due to the person whom had handled my order mistypeing my email address and the delay it caused, my client nearly sewed me. Shame on me for not having babysit the supplier to make certain things were done properly.
If you read the 1 and 2-star reviews, you will see a consistant disappointment regarding the sourcing through China.
In summary, I am dissapointed at being mislead to believe I was buying a premium product, when in-fact it is just a mass produced book I could have ordered directly from the facility in China and saved literally hundreds!!!!
“Fool me once, shame on you…” there won’t be a secon opportunity to do it again.

I'm pretty disappointed in my wedding photo book. I ordered the large premium after almost two years of working to make it perfect and finally ordering it. I was willing to spend a lot of money to have a nice wedding album. I was incredibly surprised when I lifted the book out of the presentation box. The box is probably 2 inches thick and massive, while the book itself is a 1/4 inch maybe. The book is much thinner and the pages are much thinner than I expected. I did consult customer service to make sure I selected the best possible paper and would have been willing to pay higher costs for better paper. The images are printed clear, but nothing I could not have purchased on Shutterfly for $20. For the high price tag, the quality is nowhere close.Note: I am aware of the photo "albums" with thick cardboard-like pages and did not want that after seeing a friends. They look like children's books.
