Poor macOS Photos extension

This is a review of Milk Books' extension for the macOS Photos app used to create projects within macOS Photos and send to Milk for printing.
It's not a good extension, photos can't be zoomed out or panned, page layout is restricted to their template, none of which I liked, there's a lot of wasted space, text boxes can't be moved around.
My photos have lots of meta data (description etc.) yet the extension does not allow any of this to be used in the photo book.
Not a good extension.

I am highly disappointed in the company and product. The company advertises as operated in Auckland, New Zealand.. yet, I received my product from China. I intentionally boycott buying products from China due to the poor labor environment. The product is advertised as lay flat which it seems runs by a different definition than what other website goes by.. it lays open with a thin string of thread binding it. I expected thick lay flat pages and got a flimsy book held by thread. The book is of cheap quality and I will not be buying or purchasing again. I am fine with with spending money on a good product, however this was not it.

They send you no proofing at the end. Our wedding albums got no faces all due to horrible cropping platform. Sent emails to find solution but you are asked to pay additional 50% of album cost to produce another album. Spent over $300 for our wedding album. Garbage quality.

What a disappointment and frustrating experience. DOn't get me wrong we had a wonderful time sharing the development of the photobook amongst our group and spent a huge amount of our time on zoom calls working through our photos on the system. HOWEVER, when we went to purchase we had so many errors and having had some of these on other sites we decided to let it go as we could cope with some fuzziness but alas the books are rubbish and the quality just too poor for the money. When we sought help we were told to reformat, my lovely friend too on this task as she had found MILK and thought it was a great looking book service but after spending hours and hours we got the same error message and the support team just shrugged us off? No sorry, no refund no help just too bad for you. So my recommendation is it is TOO BAD - go look for another site with a service team that cares about your photos and memories and your Time even a little bit
