Import tax beware

Book had different appearance to how I ordered it. Was emailed to say the design was changing over after a certain date, ordered mine before then and still got new design not old. No clear warning about import tax. Had to pay another £30 on top of a £100 purchase and £20 postage. Would not have ordered if I had know this. Book is generally good quality photos and as I designed.

Poor qualityI thought I'd done my research, but regret the amount of time I took to make a book. The pages were very dull, prints not at all crisp. I swear I could have printed higher resolution from my personal computer. I ordered the original landscape photo book.

The color of the pictures is way off and several photos are blurry. No issues with my photos were marked before I submitted the project. Would like a refund.

Be warned - after receiving your photobook, you will receive a considerable customs duty charge on your product, which is not communicated clearly on your purchase (this was £85.50 for myself). Initially, MILK accepted liability for this, explaining that an error was made in the invoicing prior to dispatch and asked for me to pay this fee and for them to reimburse me. I asked them to pay the importing company directly which they agreed to, however weeks later, this was still outstanding (with no further communication to myself) and then further backtracking in their initial acceptance of the charge. I am now left with an additional £85.50 to pay, which if I had have been aware of, would not have ordered the product. Disgusting.
