When did your love story begin?
Our story began 10 years ago. We met on a magical summer night in Barcelona.

How would you describe the style of your wedding?
We’ve never liked traditional weddings in churches, with bridesmaids and everything that comes with a classic ceremony. After so many years together, we decided to take the step and get married. We’re a couple that loves to travel around the world, and the United States was on our dream destination list. The idea of having a Vegas-style wedding came up, and that’s exactly what we did: we flew to Las Vegas to get married and, of course, to try our luck at the slot machines.

What was the best moment of your wedding day?
Our wedding was intimate, just the two of us, the photographer, and the officiant. The chapel had a retro 70s style, with pink curtains and cherubs. "Sure Things Chapel" is such a wonderful place. But the most special moment was walking hand in hand towards the altar as "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" by Oasis played in the background. It was a magical moment, just for the two of us.

What is your favorite image from your wedding day?
We have so many favorite photos, but there are two that stand out: one posing on the hood of a Lincoln car and another eating a burger at In-N-Out in our wedding attire.

What format did you choose for your wedding keepsake, and why did you choose it?
We chose a Premium Photo Book bound in ivory leather with gold lettering. It’s extravagant but perfectly fits the style of a Las Vegas wedding.

What inspires you to take photos in general?
When I’m exploring, I love capturing the small details (especially around people & places that mean a lot to me)—the scenery, the laughter, the textures, and the peaceful moments that often go unnoticed or are taken for granted. I enjoy documenting these things, editing them, and seeing if they can transform into something truly special.

What is your favorite story/memory behind a single shot in the book?
The best part was selecting the photos for the album, but it was also the most challenging. There were so many beautiful pictures, but we wanted to create unique compositions. Our idea was to design a timeline that told the story of the wedding from beginning to end.

What does your wedding keepsake mean to you and your partner/friends/family?
Our wedding keepsake is unique and special for the two of us. We decided it would be something intimate, without friends or family, because we wanted to avoid complications like deciding who to invite or where to celebrate. In the end, it was about the two of us getting married, and the most important thing was to enjoy that moment together. You could say it was a bit selfish, but deeply meaningful. It’s a memory that belongs only to us, something we’ll always treasure.

What inspires you to take photos? (If you didn’t take these photos, what inspired you to keep them in a physical keepsake?)
Having a physical album makes the memories last over time. We live in an era where photos are rarely printed and are kept on our phones instead. But having a physical album allows us to appreciate every detail of the pictures in a special way, without a screen in between.

What bit of advice would you offer to someone creating their own MILK memento?
Take your time, don’t rush it. It’s a special moment, and it’s ideal to create the album with your partner. Decide together which photos to include, which ones are the best, and which mean the most to you both. My advice is to make the album with your tastes in mind, not what others might like. It’s your album, your wedding. Do it your way.
Creating a wedding keepsake, much like this couple’s Las Vegas photo book, is more than just collecting images – it’s a way to celebrate love, individuality, and the moments that truly matter.
