How would you describe the style of your wedding?

Our wedding was a mix of sophistication, elegance, and fun! We fell in love with the crystal chandeliers and mosaic tiles at first sight and knew this venue would be perfect to have our wedding at.

The first look moment between bride and groom

What was the best moment of your wedding day?

This is so cliche, but the best moment was the first look. More specifically, the final steps I took before tapping my husband on the shoulder, and the moment he turned around and we embraced. It felt like the butterflies on our first date all over again!

What is your favorite image in the book and why?

Hands down, this would be the group picture with our bridal party in the cocktail room (above). Our photographer did a great job of posing everyone and the photo just looks so regal, with the lion's head in back and the leather tufted chairs. Plus, these are our nearest and dearest friends who were part of our journey along the way and everyone just looks so dapper.

Bride crying as groom shares vows

What is your favorite story behind an image in your book?

One of my favorite memories is captured so well in the photo where my husband is reading his vows and I'm dabbing away my tears (above). I was so excited to hear what he had to say and with each line he spoke, my tears and laughter started pouring through. I tried really hard not to cry at first but at some point I just gave in and proceeded to remind myself to stop crying and look cute for the camera.

What inspires you to take photos?

Ever since I was a kid, my mom always forced my sister and I to take photos everywhere we went and we hated it. Now that I'm older, I'm so grateful for all those times and all the memories we can look back on. Of course, now I'm taking more photos than my mom ever did and I completely appreciate the ability to take a snapshot of time. My husband and I love looking back on past experiences every now and then, reliving some of the best moments we've captured through photos.

What bit of advice would you give to someone creating their own wedding memento?

Select your favorite photos and use them to tell a story. Arrange them in a way for others who weren't at the event to feel the essence of your story just by looking through your photos.
