We've made it easy to design your own Family Magazine online. Simply upload your photos to the MILK Design Studio and let our Designer Templates guide you. Our Designer Templates, the layouts available when creating each page of your magazine, have options that include 1 to 24 images per double-page spread and text. Add your photos, customize your layout and add text to accompany your family's photos and watch your beautiful keepsake come to life.
We want to ensure your Family Magazine is as beautiful and sturdy as it can be. Through comprehensive quality control, we calculated that the optimum starting page count based on purpose, style, feel and the ability for unobstructed spine text was 80 pages. A minimum page count of 80 means you have plenty of space to tell your family's story.
Yes, absolutely! We would encourage you to add text to your Family Magazine as it's a wonderful way to add context and enhance your storytelling. Add photo captions, personal anecdotes and reflections to create a narrative that perfectly captures your family's unique personalities and experiences.
A Family Magazine allows for 80-200 paper pages. Each page can have up to 12 images per page, or 24 per double-page spread. For a 80 page magazine, we would recommend including anywhere from 250-500+ images to ensure your pages aren't overcrowded and each photo is giving plenty of 'breathing' space.
MILK Family Magazines are available in three Portrait formats: Mini, Large and Extra Large. Choose Mini for a compact keepsake or gift, Large for our classic Magazine format, or Extra Large for a statement-making wedding keepsake with greater scale and presence.
Sizes available: Mini Portrait (6.4 x 8.6'' / 16.2 x 21.8cm), Large Portrait (9.5 x 12.7'' / 24.1 x 32.3cm), and Extra Large Portrait (12.1 x 16.2'' / 30.7 x 41.2cm).
Yes, we have an optional handcrafted Presentation Box for Large Family Magazines. Each is made to order to perfectly accommodate your keepsake. It comes in a choice of two colors; Metallic Pearl or Black Premium Coated Cloth. Please note that Presentation Boxes are unavailable for Mini or Extra Large Magazines.
