I’ve gotten three MILK books (2 photo books, 1 photo album) and each one is unique in its own way. You can tell there’s genuine care taken to make each one, the printing is brilliant and sharp, and flipping through each book is like looking at something surprising even though I put hours into making it. The books arrive very carefully packaged, and the shipping is fast from New Zealand to the US. Customer service has also always been very quick and helpful, which is rare these days! Overall, I’m very happy with MILK, and couldn’t imagine using any other publisher. Hopefully when I’m 80, I’ll still be savoring the pages, and the memories contained!

MILK have taken book making to the next level. The print quality of the photo book we created via MILK is better than any we've created in the past with one of their competitors - and we've used several who claim to be the best. The MILK website uses formatting and design protocols that are simple, intuitive, and standard for online book-making, so there is an ease of use based on familiarity with the tools. The printing technology they employ is state of the art and does not require the need to reformat photos to CMYK. The resulting printed photos are clear, true to color and there is no variation in light or darkness from one pic to the next. We live in the US and needed an import license to have the package pass through customs but the folks at MILK were insanely helpful in expediting that process. (Thanks so much guys). I never write reviews for products or services but I'm making an exception for MILK. They are the best at what they do.

We think our Softcover Photo Books, Classic Small Landscape Photo Books and Premium Medium Landscape Photo Books are perfectly suited to hold the memories of a small getaway. Featuring 24-200 archival quality paper pages, durable binding, plenty of customization options and vibrant printing, they're a great way to bring your travels to life. While both great, we recommend the Premium option if you can afford it. The center stitching means the book will open to lie near flat, meaning you can showcase sweeping vistas with double-page image templates. Yes, adding captions and descriptions are a great way to tell your travel story. Text templates or image and text templates are available across all our product ranges including MILK Photo Books, Moleskine Photo Books and all MILK Photo Albums. Once you've selected your format and started creating, you'll see a number of templates within the Design Studio that include text. Simply add a caption to an image or fill a full page with your travel highlights. Alternatively, use an uncoated paper option if you want to add handwritten captions once your book or album has arrived. Another pro-tip is you can leave a few spreads blank and add things like postcards or polaroids directly to the page. Also, our Moleskine Photo Books have a pocket on the inside cover that can be used to safely keep little travel mementos like ticket stubs and other souvenirs.
